Originally from Southern Idaho, Amanda moved to Orange County, CA with her husband in 2006 and worked for a Speech and Hearing Center in Patient Accounts as a Financial Counselor and Collections Coordinator. Her husband’s job brought them to Las Vegas in 2009, where Amanda joined the Morrissey team in February of 2010.

Amanda started with the company as the receptionist and quickly worked her way up to the Office Manager position as well as taking on an Account Manager role. She is a firm believer that a united team with an uplifting and positive outlook is crucial for both personal growth and a company’s success.

Amanda’s background in client relations has equipped her with a strong foundation in customer service. Her impact extends beyond her responsibilities, contributing to the company’s growth, client satisfaction and a positive work culture.

As a dedicated Account Manager, Amanda serves as a liaison between clients and the insurance providers when it comes to navigating claims and the appeals process. Effective communication is key in Amanda’s role as her ongoing support ensures that clients feel confident about their health insurance coverage and with any issue that may arise, it will be resolved efficiently. Her meticulous attention to details guarantees that her administrative duties, such as proposal preparation and enrollment assistance, are handled proficiently and accurately. Her commitment to thoroughness reflects Morrissey Insurance’s dedication to excellence.

When away from the office, Amanda loves to be in the great outdoors with her husband, daughter and their Doberman child either hiking, backpacking or camping. She and her family are hockey fans and love to cheer on our Vegas Golden Knights! Amanda also enjoys volunteering with her daughter and demonstrating the value of community involvement.
