Amanda Lopez joined the Morrissey team in February of 2010, after moving to Las Vegas with her husband and daughter from Orange County, CA. She is an Idaho native and comes to Morrissey Insurance with prior experience working for a speech and hearing center in California. There, Amanda handled customer service issues, submitted monthly client and insurance billing, and handled claims issues and appeals for clients. She has been able to take this experience and apply it to her job here at Morrissey Insurance.
She started in the receptionist position and, from there, began learning more about what Morrissey Insurance offers their clients, jumping right in to assist the Morrissey agents as an account manager. Amanda handles day-to-day tasks that include the preparation of proposals, claim issues, assistance to clients with any questions or concerns they may have regarding their benefits, assisting with the enrollment process and any ongoing support for the client.
